Throughout the year, Eagle Ridge Resort at Lutsen Mountains strives to provide a vacation experience that you and your family will cherish for years to come. Eagle Ridge Resort is your “base camp” for the four seasons of fun to be had on Lake Superior’s Sawtooth Mountains.

If you would like to stay past the standard check-out time (11:00 am), please check with the Front Desk. Unfortunately, we cannot always accommodate these requests. Unapproved late check-outs may incur a fee of up to $50 per hour.

Take advantage of our Express Check-Out, leave your keys in the unit, and call or text our front desk staff to inform us of your departure.

When ready to head home, please load all dirty dishes into the dishwasher and begin a washing cycle.

Housekeeping Services

To save on our environment, here at Eagle Ridge Resort, we offer a daily Trash and Towel service by request. In your unit, you will find a “housekeeping request” item that you can place on the handle of the door to your unit that alerts our staff of the request, it additionally doubles as a “Do Not Disturb” sign if you would prefer no services. You may also call our front desk staff with your requests as well.

For stays of 6 or more nights, we provide full housekeeping—dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning bathroom and kitchen, replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed. If you want additional full-service cleanings, you can arrange for them at the desk ($10.00 per service).

The washing of dishes is not included in any of our housekeeping options.

Guest Laundry

Coin-operated laundry facilities are located in the “E” Building; $2.00 per load for a washer, $2.00 per load for a dryer, and $1.00 per package of soap.

IN-ROOM AMENITIES

Gas Fireplaces

To light, turn on the electrical switch located on the wall near your fireplace and/or turn up the thermostat located on the wall near the fireplace. If you have trouble lighting your fireplace, please call the Front Desk for the Houseman to assist you.

Steam Showers

Mountain View King rooms are equipped with a steam shower in the bathroom. To operate your steam shower: press "Start" and use the arrow buttons to set the temperature. Allow a few minutes for the steam generator to build up to temperature. Press "Stop" when exiting the shower.

DirecTV

Each of our units features DirectTV service for you to enjoy, browse our selection of channels simply by pressing the ’Guide’ button on your remote and using the arrow keys to navigate. Then hit ’Select’ to choose a channel. If you are not seeing Direct TV, check to see if the Input is on HDMI 1.

StayCAST

Streaming is also available! Utilize your favorite apps like Amazon Movies, Netflix, Hulu, and Youtube in your room with StayCast!

Turn on your TV and change the Input to HDMI 2 or HDMI 3.
To change the Input, press and hold the ‘Enter’ button on the lower right side of your remote.
When the Input menu appears, press the ‘Enter’ button until your desired input is selected.
Follow the directions on the screen to connect your device and begin streaming!

Ice

Ice is available in the vending rooms. The vending rooms are located in both “A” and “E” buildings on the lowest / mountainside entry level. Both vending areas are open 24 hours a day, your room key is required to enter the vending areas.

Your room keycard will give you access to the Pool & Fitness Center. There is no lifeguard on duty. Pool towels are provided in the pool area; please do not remove towels from the pool area or take them back to your room. Please read all safety and policy signage in the pool building before using the facilities.

Bottled beverages and food are not permitted in the facility.

Resort Policies

PARKING

All units are provided one parking space, for additional parking guests are asked to park in the main lot by the Registration Office or along the resort property. Designated handicap parking spaces are available near the registration office, pool facility, and in our A lot accessible to our “A” and “B” buildings.

SMOKING

For the comfort of our guests and staff, all units at Eagle Ridge Resort are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted anywhere outdoors on the property, please use ashtrays. Guest that have been found to be smoking in guest units will be charged a minimum of $150 for cleaning and deodorizing.

quiet hours

In keeping with our family resort atmosphere, Quiet Hours are in effect between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Any complaints of noise should be reported by dialing the Front Desk or after-hours maintenance at 218-370-0719. Guests found to be causing noise complaints may be asked to leave and may be charged a fee due to the noise disturbance.

Quiet Hours are in effect between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

Security

Any noise complaints or after-hours emergencies should be brought to the attention of Night Security by calling 218-370-0719. Or, if necessary, contact the Cook County Sheriff at 218-387-3030.

Skis & Snowboards

Skis and Snowboards can be stored in the ski closets specifically designed for this purpose in the entryway of each room, entryway areas, and on deck or patios for units.
